Thanksgiving

Posts are a little out of order.  We are back to Thanksgiving now.  I didn't have any time off work except for Thanksgiving day.  We stayed home this year and Eric's parents came and spent Thanksgiving with us.  Unfortunately Savannah got the flu and passed it on to everyone who came in contact with her.  :)

Baker Christmas

Derek's birthday party

My nephew Derek turned 2 in December.  We went to help him celebrate at his baseball-themed birthday party.

The Nutcracker

Savannah got to see the Nutcracker this year.  There are a few different performances of it in Birmingham and we decided to go see Grebel Ballet's version.  I wasn't sure if she would enjoy it or not, but she sat still and watched the entire time.

Afterwards she got to take a picture with one of the ballerinas and get on stage.

Rock City

After our Thanksgiving get-together we decided to go to Rock City.  We used to go a lot when I was a kid and I have great memories of it.  Every year they put out lots of Christmas lights and Santa is there at the end.  Sadly no pics of Savannah with Santa because she was doing her "crazy eyes" in the picture they took and they wouldn't let me take any personal photos.

Thanksgiving in Trenton - 2012

Every year we have a get-together the weekend before Thanksgiving at my grandfather's.  This was Savannah's first time to meet some of the extended family on that side.  I'm pretty sure she had a good time as she has never met a stranger.

Kindergarten School Pictures - Fall 2012

We got Savannah's school picture at the beginning of the school year.  I was amazed that they came out so well.  Here hair is normally a mess from running around and she hates to smile for pictures.  I don't know what kind of witchcraft they used to make her smile, but it worked.
